CPR and First Aid are as important as swimming training

Wivey Pool Junior WiLDSquad youngsters practising CPR and first aid, skills that are just as vital as swimming training. They have a couple of big swim challenges coming up this summer

In long-distance swimming, trust is paramount, and a culture of helping one another is what underpins success. Out at sea or at the beach, situations can change quickly, so being prepared makes all the difference.

Learning these techniques builds confidence, helps enable trust, and turns uncertainty into calm action.

On the support boat or at the beach, the coach isn’t alone, these swimmers become trusted teammates, ready to step in and assist if needed, helping keep everyone safe and strong together

Thanks to Wivey Pool, Wiveliscombe and their lifeguards.
