Level the Water Initiative

Giving young people access to swimming opportunities

Alongside our campaign for cleaner rivers and seas, Level the Water is a fund created to give young people across the 10 Parishes the opportunity to swim in a clean, safe environment.

This initiative provides financial assistance for swimming lessons and access to swimming opportunities for individuals, youth organisations, and local schools.

It also supports local children’s training to become lifeguards and swimming teachers, helping to create skills, confidence, and long-term opportunities within the community.

For many, becoming a confident and competent swimmer or achieving a lifeguard qualification is a life-changing milestone. It is their ‘Big Swim’.
