The Big Swim

Jurassic Coast Marathon Swim

Swimming 12km between Lyme Regis, Beer and Westbay

A marathon swim is defined as an open water swim covering a distance of at least 10 kilometres (6.2 miles), characterised by the swimmer’s direct exposure to natural elements, including but not limited to water temperature, currents, and wildlife, without performance-enhancing equipment.

The Jurassic Coast Marathon Swims involve swimming 12km between coastal locations of Lyme Regis, Beer and Westbay, from CSO to CSO (Combined Sewer Outlet).
